AMICI Shipyard (Artemis Marine & Industrial Construction Inc.), is a MARINA Class-B licensed facility specializing in shipbuilding and ship repair. 

Located in Buenavista, Bohol, our shipyard is strategically positioned for operational efficiency—naturally protected from both Northeast and Southwest monsoon winds, and easily accessible by land and sea.

 Multi-Vessel Drydocking Capacity

Equipped with side transfer carriages, our shipyard can drydock 8 to 10 vessels simultaneously. The 30-meter-wide main slipway allows us to service wide and long vessels over 100 meters.

Our fully equipped machine shop supports propulsion system repairs and high-precision machining works, ensuring shorter downtime and better cost control.

Artemis Marine & Industrial Construction, Inc. (AMICI) and Concrete Solutions, Inc. (CSI), in partnership with local government units and the DENR, spearheaded a large-scale mangrove reforestation project on Cabul-an Island, Buenavista, Bohol. Held on August 27–30, 2020, the initiative planted 90,000 mangrove propagules across five hectares, strengthening coastal protection, restoring marine biodiversity, and supporting community livelihoods as part of the National Greening and Clean Air Programs.

Primary Group Commits ₱1B Investment to Build Bohol’s Largest Shipyard

The Primary Group of Builders (PGB), through its marine construction arm Artemis Marine and Industrial Construction, Inc. (AMICI), has invested over ₱1 billion in building the largest shipyard in the Visayas and Mindanao, located in Barangay Cruz, Buenavista, Bohol. Spanning 19 hectares, the AMICI Marine Shipyard offers advanced ship repair and dry-docking services, employing over 300 workers—80% from the local community. Equipped to service up to 12 vessels simultaneously, with plans to expand capacity to 20, the facility has already handled 40 vessels since securing its Class B license from MARINA in 2022. The project is seen as a major driver of economic growth, job creation, and investment in the province, complemented by PGB’s expansion of its SKILLS training center to develop a skilled maritime workforce.
